Spring.
Lush and Green.
A new start.
That can be sweet or tart.
Red Roses.
Blue Violets.
And everything in between,
Spring is lush and green.
Stalks of grass
And no class!
Sweet as can be,
Spring is lush and green.
Storms rage!
Blowing the pages,
Right off my screen!
So as tart as can be,
Spring is lush and green.
Wow, I can visualize the parts in this poem as I'm reading it! this is a great piece.
ReplyDeleteI like how you say spring is sweet and a new start. You also say it's tart and storms rage. I like how you put the two thoughts into one. Most people will just say how spring is pretty and you know green trees and such. You put something else in which made it really great!
